This is a full-time, exempt level position.

Position Summary:

The Product Line Marketing Manager position will report to the Vice President Producer Marketing.. This position will have a core focus on producer facing activities across multiple ADM businesses. The position will require development and management of ADM’s producer product and service portfolio, constant communication with producer origination, fertilizer, and sustainability teams as well as strategy development that support ADM’s overall producer facing efforts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute the strategic go-to-market plan (including development, organization, and execution) for ADM’s portfolio of producer facing offerings, including grain origination, non-traditional contracts, fertilizer, and sustainability programs. This may also include creating related marketing materials and supporting implementation and product training.
  • Actively explore new grain marketing opportunities, sustainability integrations, and farm direct fertilizer selling opportunities and cater those to evolving customer needs and competitive product offerings while challenging status quo
  • Assist with the implementation of new initiatives. Primary tactics may include leading remote in-person small or large group presentations, in-person one on one product training, web-based product training, and recorded video trainings
  • Encourage and influence origination team to provide a higher level of service and a deeper understanding of a customers’ business through marketing campaigns, direct written and verbal communications
  • Manages relationships with external partners, ensuring seamless coordination of services. Responsibilities include overseeing contract compliance, budget adherence, facilitating communication, and resolving issues to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in an autonomous environment, generate and pursue ideas, and build strong internal and external relationships
  • Work closely with other members of immediate and extended producer origination team and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall strategic priorities
  • Overseeing marketing team members responsible for various segments or projects
  • Control budgets and allocate resources to projects as necessary to execute the strategy
Who We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or agriculture, or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical abilities, initiative and problem solving skills necessary to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrates leadership, problem-solving ability, flexibility and teamwork
  • Exercises good judgement in elevating and communicating actual or potential issues to management
  • Basic understanding of grain markets, grain contracting alternatives, production agriculture and the application of those to the producer
  • Displays creative marketing and design qualities with a keen sense of aesthetics
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and Teams
  • Models strong customer service skills and displays genuine sense of urgency
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate within various levels of an organization
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work in a global ecosystem (internal and external) with a high degree of complexity
  • Easily earns the trust of peers and displays confidence, patience and empathy
  • 10% travel estimated
