Job Description

Part-time Contract Recruiter, Various Locations (Hybrid)
Position is Hybrid- 3 days on-site

We are seeking an experienced Part-time Contractor Recruiter with prior recruitment experience to attract and hire hourly manufacturing talent for our organization. In this role, you will utilize your advanced sourcing skills to research and network with passive candidates and land critical talent for our organization. You will be a highly consultative talent advisor that brings external market insights to bear when consulting with hiring managers and HR Business Partners on talent needs and recruitment approaches. This is a hybrid position and could be based in Decatur, IL or other ADM locations and is 25-29 hours per week.

This is a fast-paced and dynamic role on an energetic and inclusive team where thinking about things in new ways is strongly supported. You'll also work on strategic projects to improve and innovate how we attract and recruit the best talent, because we know that there's always a better way - from generating a candidate pipeline to finding ways to streamline and improve the manager and candidate experience. You will help position ADM as an employer of choice with highly skilled, in-demand diverse talent that is critical to our growing organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build solid relationships with hiring managers and develop a keen understanding of team dynamics and cultural fit, and the skills and experiences needed to continue the growth and success of the business
  • Act as an ambassador of ADM and help create a strong employer-of-choice brand
  • Use your knowledge of the competitive landscape to build recruiting strategies for open positions
  • Leverage multiple sourcing tools to identify and attract highly skilled diverse talent
  • Own the full cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, relationship management, including the offer and closing of candidates
  • Keep managers and candidates informed on the status of the process
  • Partner effectively with HR Business Partners to ensure the talent needs of the organization are met
  • Drive an efficient hiring process and maintain quality pipeline metrics via the ATS
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a full life-cycle recruiter
  • Demonstrated expert level capabilities in direct sourcing talent
  • Highly developed communication skills- both written and verbal
  • Prior agency experience is a plus
  • Strong consulting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience developing targeted sourcing strategies to attract talent for niche roles and in challenging talent markets, specifically experience in attracting talent across NA into manufacturing roles
  • Self-motivated with superior organizational skills, integrity and follow through.
  • Strong relationship management experience and closing skills
  • Strong self-starter and “dot-connector” that sees the big picture and drives processes to deliver desired outcomes.
Excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed? Studies show that often applicants will self-select out if they don’t check every box. We encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this role or another one of our openings.
