Project Delivery Lead

Purpose and Scope:
The Project Delivery Lead is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of organizational priorities through seamless orchestration of IT functions and delivery of capabilities to the organization​. This role ensures that projects move seamlessly through the project plan while engaging the necessary stakeholders and resources. The Project Delivery Lead manages both internal and external teams to ensure compliance with the company's standards and procedures, as well as proper onboarding and alignment with the project’s goals. This position requires close coordination with Project Managers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure that timelines, risks, and deliverables are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
Delivery Management

  • Collaborate with PMs and cross-functional teams on identification of delivery milestones and achievements, the delivery activities to be included in the Project Plan, roles and resources needed to accomplish scope and budget planning.
  • Review and confirm progress against the Project Plan.
  • Partner with PM and project team to ensure project scope is delivered effectively.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new resources, ensuring that all necessary training and security protocols are in place​.
  • Review requirements across multiple solutions / business processes​.
  • Identify dependencies and synergies between solutions.
  • Set up and provide guidance on software, procedures, processes, tools, and techniques. ​
  • Evaluate technical options and ensure that the architectural designs align with objectives.
  • Identify risks and work with PMs on mitigation and escalation strategies.
  • Ensure that knowledge transfer sessions are scheduled and executed before project go-live and oversee the establishment of Hypercare support to ensure smooth transition​.
  • Collaborate with Organizational Change Management on the communication and training plans as well as stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the PM on the delivery closure process, ensuring that all deliverables are met, and documentation is complete​.
Vendor Management​
  • Facilitate the completion of SOW/Contract process, i.e., labor and software.
  • Facilitate the offboarding of resources at the end of the project, including the removal of security access and the conclusion of vendor contracts​.
Performance Management​
  • Manage internal and vendor resources effectively to meet delivery objectives and program realize agreed business benefits​.
  • Ensure compliance with ADM processes and guidelines, including change management, testing, and other key procedures​.
Stakeholder Relationship Management​
  • Facilitate content for Stakeholder and Steer Co updates.
  • Manage stakeholder approvals on design documents.
  • Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to support organizational objectives​.
  • Manage stakeholder needs by providing updates on progress, addressing concerns, and communicating upcoming changes.
Key Expectations:
  • Review and monitor key metrics of project deliverables and agreed upon business outcomes and take corrective actions for deviations​.
  • Manage team performance ensuring effective contribution to meet project goals​.
  • Drive operational excellence by championing standardized process, delivery methodology and capacity/resource planning​.
  • Drive scope definition with project teams​.
  • Ensure that all project-related documents are created, reviewed, and signed off according to organizational protocols​.
Key Requirements:
  • 7 years of IT experience, with at least 2–3 years in project management or team leadership roles.
  • Experience managing external vendors, including creating SOWs and ensuring contract compliance.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, security protocols, and cloud architecture processes.
  • Experience in overseeing system transitions, including training and onboarding new resources.
  • Firm understanding of quality assurance standards and risk management strategies.
