Job Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for continuous improvement in the areas of financial accounting, standardizing and simplifying processes, internal controls, and internal financial reporting working closely with COE Controllers, Technical Accounting, Governance, Tax, BU Controllers and other key stakeholders
- Ensure global alignement of service catalogue.
- Provide excellent customer service to key stakeholders ensuring proper execution service catalogue
- Collaborate with other leaders to identify and implement best practices across COE
- Maintain a strong internal and operational control environment in compliance with company policies.
- Review and analyze consolidated financial results to ensure materially accurate per US GAAP guidelines.
- Support annual review/revision of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) and process flows and work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls.
- Analyze financial statements and/or supporting schedules and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Facilitate global consolidation of financial results, disclosures requirements, Sox controls, and other reporting for customers as requested.
- Support COE projects as approved through demand management to ensure standardization and simplifications of processes.
- Drive continuous improvement through collaboration of thought, innovative ideas, and proactive behavior.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Ensures that ADM rewards and recognizes teamwork and group performance over counter-productive individual behavior
- Identifies and resolves situations in which different departments’ goals are in conflict, causing teams to work at cross-purposes to each other
- Is seen as an advocate for the whole company, rather than for any particular part of it
- Initiates company-wide communications about the state of important ADM affairs
- Provides timely, relevant and candid progress reports to all employees
- Continually fine-tunes key messages so they have the greatest and widest impact on the company
- Asks questions of various experts across organization before implementing company-wide solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- Prior supervisory experience
- Proficient in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior experience in managing multiple projects at one time and strong data analytics
- Familiarity with financial planning, forecasting and analysis processes
- Visualization and communication skills (to a wide range of audiences both technical and non-technical) is required
- Strong functional understanding of ADM’s operating structure desired
- Experience with Power BI and large ERP systems (e.g. JDE, SAP, etc) a plus

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$121,900.00 - $200,100.00
Salaried Incentive Plan
The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus and a long-term incentive plan
