This is a full-time, exempt level position
About the Role:
The GBS Data & Accounting Analyst will support key data and reconciliation initiatives within the transactional STP (Accounts Payable) and PTC (Accounts Receivable) teams, focusing on detailed support for General Ledger requirements. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate and investigate interfaces and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive resolution and process improvement.
This is a hands-on role that will contribute to improving balance sheet reconciliation accuracy, reducing aging items, and supporting end-to-end process efficiency.
Position Summary:
As part of the GBS Quality Control Team, the Quality Control Business Analyst will drive end to end processes and solutions supporting the transactional balance sheet reconciliations for STP/AP and P2C/AR accounts including cash, bank accounts, draft accounts, accounts receivable and accounts payable. The ideal candidate will partner closely with the GBS transactional teams, Accounting and Controlling, Treasury, and Global Technology Data & Analytics teams to evaluate detailed reporting from multiple ERPs and help design and optimize tools and platforms that makes handling supporting data more efficient for all users. In addition, the Quality Control Team will partner with the GBS teams to analyze current ways of working, create and maintain accurate process documentation, seek automation solutions, and incorporate continuous improvement methodologies to maintain industry best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Treasury, Global Technology, and Data & Analytics) to support over 150 monthly balance sheet reconciliations across North America.
- Perform data mapping between legacy ERP systems and Databricks target models.
- Develop and implement data validation and reconciliation frameworks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on unresolved balances to reduce outstanding items.
- Translate AP/AR transactional requirements into actionable insights and documentation for troubleshooting and support.
- Design and prioritize dashboards, reports, and data tables to support ADM General Ledger processes.
- Collaborate with E2E teams (Procurement, Collections, Treasury, Accounting) to define data requirements and identify automation opportunities.
- Document processes, create training materials, and promote best practices across teams.
- Define and track KPIs to monitor process health and maturity of reconciliation activities.
- Act as a product owner for IT (Global technology) on Data projects and support capturing business requirements and translating into technical requirements.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, accounting support, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliation principles, governance, and risk management.
- Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$61,100.00 - $114,000.00
