At Caterpillar’s Decatur, IL facility, we manufacture and assemble Large Mining and Construction equipment. In this role as a Sales & Operations Planning Coordinator, you will report to the Manager of Sales and Operations Planning and will be primarily responsible for leading forecasting, scheduling, and tracking real-time performance in order to support growing business and talent demands. As a member of the Sales and Operations Planning team, you will need to have a growth mindset, promote continuous improvement, and help build a defect-free culture. What you will do:
- Analyzing and solving business problems with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities.
- Leading global order management initiatives for assigned products, and coordinating supply planning responses with the facilities.
- Liaising with operational management teams on all matters related to resource planning.
Producing effective resource scheduling to maximize performance and meet KPIs/SLA.

Capacity Planning & Management: Knowledge of tools, approaches and practices for determining production demand; ability to plan and manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service.
Education and Experience requirement:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or extensive experience in Supply Chain roles

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
