JOB TITLE: Splash Cove - Lifeguard. LOCATION: Splash Cove. CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time, Non-Exempt. WAGE: $17.00/hour. POSITION FOCUS The lifeguard is responsible for patron safety and enforcement of policies to ensure efficient operation during all open hours (early mornings, weekdays, evenings, weekends). Candidates must pass the Ellis & Associates Lifeguard pre-test (100-yard swim; feet-first surface dive to 13 feet retrieving 10 lb. brick; 1-minute tread without arms) to be eligible for an interview. SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS Accountable to the Aquatics Supervisor. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Implement water emergency procedures; attend in-service training; enforce rules; demonstrate rescue/first aid; maintain clean facilities; complete reports; maintain current Ellis & Associates certification; provide customer service; maintain a clean and organized work environment. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING Minimum age 16; Ellis & Associates Lifeguard license or willing to obtain.
