Basic Functions:

Professional Farm Manager & Real Estate Broker to oversee the management of client-owned agricultural properties and support farmland real estate transactions.

Essential Job Duties:

• Provide comprehensive farm management services for agency and trust accounts.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through transparent, timely and professional communication.
• Engage in farmland real estate brokerage, representing buyers and sellers in the acquisition or sale of agricultural land.
• Support marketing efforts and contribute to the growth of the division.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Understanding of Midwest row crop production systems
• Proven experience in client relationship management
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Analytical mindset with sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in budgeting and reporting
• Knowledge of real estate brokerage and farmland market dynamics
• Comfortable building new client relationships and promoting services
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a professional demeanor
• Familiarity with agronomy, soil conservation, and insurance

Conduct all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies and procedures.

Training and Experience

• The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agronomy, ag business, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in farm management and/or ag real estate brokerage preferred
• Illinois Real Estate Broker License (or willingness to obtain)

First Illinois Ag Group requires the successful completion of a background check, drug screen and fingerprinting prior to employment.

This is a full time, exempt position eligible for a robust benefit package. This position is eligible for incentive compensation.

The base salary range provided represents the anticipated starting base pay for this position. Individual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to role requirements and responsibilities, related experience, education, qualifications, and internal equity.
