General Responsibilities
Responsibilities include full charge of all accounting, financial reporting, and treasury functions. In addition, responsibilities include Human Resources administration, Purchasing oversight and IT interface. This position includes significant individual contribution while also supervising office management and accounting personnel.
This position is an onsite position working Monday through Friday. Plant operations are 6:00 am– 2:30 pm. The Office hours are 7:00 am – 4:30 pm. Requirements for work on Saturday will depend on plant operations requiring overtime.
Specific Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting & Purchasing

Full Controllership responsibilities for accurate accounting of all financial functions.

Ensuring accuracy in Cash Management, A/R, A/P, WIP, Job Material Purchases & other inventories

Maintaining the cost accounting system

Partial processing of bi-weekly payroll processing and job costing

Accurately account and sign for applicable bank covenants

Ensure timeliness and accuracy in servicing all company debt

Evaluate and assist with transacting all capital expenditures

Approve and maintain customer credit limits
-
Ensuring collections are current; calling customers as necessary

Provide secure location for all Company confidential files
-
Ensure accurately and timely filing of all taxes
-
Manage evaluation and purchase of Company business insurance
-
Ensure strong process control and management of all procurement functions
Human Resources Administration
-
Provide secure location for all confidential personnel files
-
Process all new employees as well as changes for existing personnel
-
Manage training needs for employees on IT, personal development, and company policies
-
Annual review, modify and administer Company benefit programs
-
Interface with the PEO providing HR/Payroll services
-
Maintain changes to Company Employee Handbook
-
Manage all Worker’s Compensation claims
Information Technology Administration
-
Responsible for maintaining all IT systems directly and through third party providers, including all communication systems

Provide ongoing review with suggested upgrades for technical changes the Company should consider
Key Interfaces

Key interface with Company’s CPA firm for reviews and tax returns

Interface directly with key personnel of equity owner

Coordination of HR/Payroll requirements with PEO

Provide primary interface with insurance brokers/providers

Attend weekly Production Meeting

Interfaces directly with all Company functions and personnel
Qualifications
-
BS in Accounting or equivalent
-
Experience in full charge operating environments
-
Experience in public accounting, a plus
-
Experience with job costing, a plus
-
Familiarity with ComputerEase, a plus
-
Demonstrated competence in Excel, Word, Outlook

Demonstrated excellence in communication skills
