Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional HR Administrative Assistant to support our Human Resources department. This role is responsible for providing front-line administrative support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and maintaining organized filing systems. The ideal candidate will be friendly, efficient, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This is a temporary role lasting approximately three months. The role supports our 1st shift operation which is Monday - Thursday from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm. Some overtime and flexibility of hours is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Greet and assist visitors to the plant, ensuring a welcoming and helpful experience.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Provide general administrative support to HR staff, including data entry, facilitation of new hire paperwork and compiling data.
- Assist with onboarding tasks such as preparing new hire packets and scheduling orientations.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries for the plant.
- Maintain office supplies and ensure the front office area is tidy and well-stocked.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or administrative certification preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role, preferably in HR or a corporate setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with regular interaction with employees and visitors.
- May require sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting of office supplies.

Hiring Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hour
*Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors
