Mueller Company, the nation's leading manufacturer of flow control devices for the water and gas distribution industries is seeking a 2nd shift Welder to join our team.
Position Details:
- 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- $28.86/hr. + shift differential
- $500 sign on bonus after 60 working days
General Responsibilities:
Capable of performing all of the functions in the work center including:
- Layout or maker metal before welding
- Can be called to verify other welds and reworks as necessary
- Maintain working area in a clean and orderly fashion
- Make suggestions to improve cost. quality, safety and efficiency of operation
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Basic mathematics skills (decimals, fraction, ratios)
- Read and interpret part drawings
- Use gages, calipers, micrometer, scales, etc.)
Experienced in:
- Submerged Arc (SAW)
- Flux Core, Semi-Automatic (FCAW)
- MIG, Solid Wire, Semi-Automatic GMAW
- Stick SMAW
- Stud Weld
- Steffan Cutter
