A Restoration Technician goes out into a customer's home and provides cleaning/restoration services either in the Water or Fire Divisions. The employee provides World Class Service and advises the homeowner on how to return their home to pre-loss condition by either cleaning or drying out the structure.
- Master Purpose and Use of all equipment and materials.
- Maintain working condition of all equipment and materials.
- Take daily inventory on truck.
- Replenish truck needs from warehouse.
- Take weekly inventory at warehouse.
- Clean Interior and Exterior of vehicle on an as needed basis (maintain a clean vehicle as much as possible.
- Have vehicles serviced according to schedule.
- Handle payment transactions when necessary.
- Perform emergency service work (Water Restoration Division) as needed. Required to be apart of the On-Call Schedule at least once a month and out of town rotation schedule.
- Assist in new technician training.
- Ability to take the lead on jobs including directing crews. Needs to update Supervisor of any problems or situations immediately.
Essential Functions:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds in front of body and overhead with assistance.
- Must be able to crawl/work on hands and knees for short assignments over a continuous period of time.
- Must be able to work on a ladder with hands over head for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to physically tolerate chemicals that fall within approved OSHA standards.
- Must be able to squat while bearing weight.
- Must possess average visual and auditory acuity.
- Must be able to push/pull equipment up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing work environment.
- Must be able to pass DOT physical.
- Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to wear a respirator.
- Must be able to withstand changing variances in temperature such as cold weather or hot weather.
- Must be able to tolerate confined spaces.
