About the Role:

Primient is seeking a proactive and environmentally conscious Corporate Environmental Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our environmental sustainability efforts by assisting in the development and implementation of environmental compliance tools across all Primient facilities.

Key responsibilities: Corp Environmental Intern

• Assist in creating and implementing environmental compliance tools to support and enhance sustainability practices across all Primient facilities.

• Help maintain and update legal registries to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.

• Contribute to updating corporate and local procedures related to environmental compliance.

• Efficiently manage and organize electronic records related to environmental compliance.

• Work closely with various teams within the organization to promote and implement environmental initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

• Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Sharepoint), Gensuite, and OSI-PI

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Passion for environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

What We Offer:

This internship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our Corporate Environmental operations within a dynamic environment.

Must possess valid work authorization for the US. We are not offering sponsorship for this role.

ITEMS TO NOTE

This is a 40 hour per week/Full Time role.

This role is a Hybrid role - 3 days a week at the Decatur, IL plant

There is no guarantee of full-time placement at the conclusion of this internship.

This role comes with a $21.00/hr rate with a $3000 Housing/Travel stipend.
