About the Role

The Manager, Supply Chain, Planning sits within Supply Chain Planning and leads the near term (0-3 month) supply chain planning and long-term strategic initiative to ensure alignment with Primient’s values of integrity and excellence. This role oversees detailed planning and scheduling activities that support the overall S & OP plan, addressing capacity issues, production location decisions, and escalations to align manufacturing plans with customer needs and inventory requirements. The Manager, Supply Chain, Planning is responsible for managing the short-term planning relationship with Tate in the LTA space while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain effectiveness. Additionally, this role monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators to support operations.

Key responsibilities:

Lead Planning Team: Lead the detailed planning team by providing support, training and resources to enable team members to excel in their roles. Act as change manager to drive new ways of working and process improvements
Collaborative Leadership: Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and information sharing between S&OE, Product Management, Logistics, Operations, S&OP, Customer Service teams.
Risk Identification and Escalation: Proactively identify significant business risks and escalate them to the appropriate leadership teams.
Supply Planning and Demand Alignment: Provide strategic direction to resolve critical supply constraints, set production priorities, and balance supply with customer demand. Utilize an in-depth understanding of plant capacities and manufacturing capabilities to support the allocation process when inventory projections fall short.
Cross-Functional Alignment and Communication: Maintain alignment with long-term agreements (LTA) on performance vs. production plans through weekly, monthly and quarterly updates. Lead weekly calls with NOAM manufacturing plants and key supply chain roles to prioritize tasks across product platforms and ensure a structured communication plan
Supply Chain Optimization: Drive process improvements and streamline detailed planning workflows to support supply chain performance indicators (KPI’s) and enhance operational efficiency.

Required and Preferred Education/Certification

Bachelors in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent (preferred)
Certifications in APICS CSCP, Six Sigma, and Lean Management (preferred)

Required and Preferred Work Experience

5+ years of professional experience in supply chain or planning (preferred)
3+ years in leadership positions/management/managing teams (required)
Demonstrated ability working with large data sets with Excel, Access, etc. (required)
Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as Systems, Application and Products (SAP) (preferred)
3+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, especially corn wet milling (preferred)

Total Rewards

The annual pay range estimated for this position is $109,814.40 - $137,268.00 and is bonus eligible.

Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
