About the Role
The Specialist, Truck Operations sits on the Logistics team and serves as the central point of contact between customer service and trucking companies. This role is responsible for ensuring that Primient products are transported to customers in the most cost effective, timely, efficient and safe manner. By optimizing transportation routes and coordinating with third-party carriers, the Specialist, Truck Operations ensures seamless product delivery while maintaining high service levels.
Key responsibilities:
Truck Operations: Manage the planning and execution of shipments with partner carriers across bulk, dry van, and LTL, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality service.
Logistics Problem Solving: Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Service and Production Planning, to develop and implement trucking solutions for Logistics challenges.
OTM Oversite: Monitor and manage actions within Primient Transportation Management System (TMS), ensuring accurate shipment information, proper load tendering to partner carriers, and resolving errors effectively.
Customer Transportation Complaints: Address high-priority customer complaints in coordination with Sales and Customer Service, providing solutions that meet delivery and safety expectations. Analyze internal complaints related to late deliveries and performance issues to identify root causes and drive improvement.
Invoice Discrepancy Review: Review Truck Transportation Invoices that deviate from Primient’s planned costs, resolve discrepancies, and dispute incorrect charges with Partner Carriers to maintain financial accuracy

Total Rewards
The annual pay range estimated for this position is $57,558.40 - $71,948.00 and is bonus eligible.
Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
