Responsibilities

This Senior Associate will play a key role supporting the execution of an office development project in Miami, while also contributing to new deal origination and underwriting. The role includes a reporting component to external partners and stakeholders and spans the full project lifecycle, from site acquisition through construction, lease-up and stabilization, including financial analysis and modeling, site acquisition, due diligence, zoning, legal document review, budgeting, construction and design. This Senior Associate will prepare detailed financial analyses and models including those for project budgets and cost tracking, transaction underwriting and return on investment analysis, and will provide key takeaways to business units, corporate finance, and senior management.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Drive key workstreams on an office development project, including design coordination, construction monitoring, budgeting, leasing strategy and tenant buildouts, and marketing, while also supporting new deal origination across site acquisition, financing, governmental approvals, project branding, sales and marketing strategy and implementation.
  • Conduct market assessments, site assessments, zoning assessments, and other due diligence related to site acquisition and development feasibility.
  • Perform market research and analysis to support leasing strategy, including office rents, concessions, and competitive supply.
  • Own the underwriting of active and new development deals and preparation of business plans, including annual operating plans, financial forecasts, strategic plans, project updates and product introduction financial plans.
  • Track the project's budget, schedule, and risk, and prepare regular status reporting for ownership and senior leadership.
  • Work cross functionally across teams to oversee construction costs, budgeting, and the timeline of deliverables.
  • Author internal and external correspondence, project and property descriptions, and leasing and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with external partners and design consultants to coordinate external requests, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Produce executive-level presentations and project reporting to a high standard of accuracy and brand-consistent formatting.

Qualifications

You’ll need to have:

  • A passion for real estate, a strong entrepreneurial mind, and strong work ethic to have the potential to become part of a growing company on the cutting edge of real estate development and an industry leader.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of real estate development experience, with demonstrated exposure to the full project lifecycle from site acquisition through stabilization. Prior office development experience is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; expertise with excel.
  • Experience in real estate financial modeling is required.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and a strong eye for presentation and document design, with the ability to produce polished, error-free, executive-ready materials.
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills are also required to succeed in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with significant responsibilities and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with strong presentation skills and the ability to present effectively to senior leadership and clients.
  • Strong attention to detail, along with a drive to grow and succeed are critical.
  • Must be a self-starter who thrives working autonomously, while collaborating effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across offices.
