| Job Description |
Plans, prepares, implements, teaches, and evaluates classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction, and serves as academic advisor/coach for students. Participates in program development and evaluation. Participates on College committees and activities as needed. Provides support and leadership for the emergency medical services (EMS) program. Serves as liaison to Dean, Health Professions. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Knowledgeable of methods of instruction, testing, and evaluation of students. Have field experience in the delivery of out-of-hospital emergency care. Academic preparation related to emergency medical services at least equivalent to that of a paramedic. Knowledgeable of current versions of the National EMS Scope of Practice and National EMS Education Standards and evidenced-informed clinical practice. |
