Job Description
Plan, prepare, implement, teach, and evaluate discipline coursework in multiple modesin Art Studio courses, manage the David Erlanson Art Gallery (DEAG), and DEAG Endowment Fund. Participate in course and program development and evaluation. Participate in assigned committees and task forces. Collaborate with various colleagues and stakeholders to address and respond to relevant issues affecting student success.

The teaching assignment will include a combination of face-to-face and online ART courses. Face-to-face courses may be delivered on Richland’s campus or at cooperating dual-credit high schools. The teaching load is five courses per fall and spring semester. Opportunities for summer teaching may be available.
Required Qualifications
This position requires a master’s degree in art or a related field, a minimum of one year of teaching experience at the college level, and a demonstrated commitment to teaching in both the traditional and online classroom in multiple artist modes.

Operates standard office equipment such as a phone and computers on a frequent basis. Receives, processes, and provides visual and verbal information, including electronic communications. Is available for occasional irregular hours and travel. Must be able to work effectively in stressful situations. Provides timely response to externally/internally imposed conditions and deadlines. Responds to concurrent, multiple, non-related issues.
Salary Salary commensurate with education and experience, per the current collective bargaining agreement.
