| PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be able to receive, process, and provide visual and verbal information. Must be able to work effectively in stressful situations. Work is routinely performed in a kitchen environment walking between buildings making multiple trips. Subject to standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling, using hands and fingers, stooping, and occasional lifting of objects up to 50 lbs. Uniform required. Partially provided by the college. Employee furnishes themselves with non-slip shoes adequate for kitchen environments, and black chef pants, scrubs, or slacks.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK Maximum 28 hours per week. Typical work hours are Monday through Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., or Monday through Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. TRAVEL Occasional travel to various local off campus catering sites. CUSTOMER SERVICE STATEMENT Consistently performs duties with concern, courtesy, and respect for all persons in a prompt and timely manner. Must work cooperatively with recruits, cadets, staff, and community members and be sensitive and respectful to issues.
