Job Description
Evaluates, develops, and promotes instructional technology in support of the teaching and learning needs of the College. Works directly with Teaching & Learning Center staff to ensure accessibility and universal design best practices are met and that faculty are provided high quality support and assistance. Responsible for troubleshooting and solving technical problems related to the delivery of online course content.
Required Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Experience with learning technologies, distance education and/or computer applications for online, hybrid, and enhanced course delivery. Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or training. Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree. Online teaching experience preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to work with computer software programs for online learning management systems and other software programs.
Ability to troubleshoot basic computer issues.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to work effectively with students, faculty, Online Support Specialist, and the Director.
Must be able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Possess strong verbal, written, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed. There may be irregular hours periodically including weekend and/or evening hours for training/workshops and/or troubleshooting/responding to faculty needs. Summer hours may vary.
This position may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement

TRAVEL
Travel to local and out of state online learning meetings, events, and conferences.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to receive, process, and provide visual and verbal information.
Must be able to work effectively in stressful situations.
Occasional irregular hours and travel.
Provide timely response to externally/internally imposed conditions and deadlines.
Respond to concurrent, multiple, non-related issues.
Salary Pay Grade: E-10: Minimum Starting Salary $49,427.96/yr
