Job Description | The Dual Credit Coordinator is a multifaceted position focused on coordinating dual credit initiatives at the college, supporting faculty of dual credit to aid their success, ensuring the academic rigor of dual credit courses, serving as the primary contact for the DPS 61 Prep Academy, working in collaboration with Student Success on enrichment activities, outreach, and recruitment, and assisting the dean in reporting and compliance requirements. |
Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s Degree. A minimum of three years working in the higher education field. Must be a current Richland Community College Employee. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Work collaboratively within the college community and with high school partners to grow and improve the dual credit opportunities related at the college. Initiative to build connections throughout the community and state to enhance Richland’s dual credit program. Ability to compile and organize data, records, and reports. Knowledge of issues, trends, needs, and best practices of community college dual credit programs and students. PHYSICAL /MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be able to work effectively in stressful situations. Must be able to receive, process, and provide visual and verbal information. Respond to concurrent, multiple, non-related issues. Provide timely response to externally imposed conditions and deadlines. |
Preferred Qualifications | Master’s Degree and college teaching experience preferred. |
Physical Demands | Typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed. Summer hours may vary. This position may be eligible for the College’s Flexible Work Arrangement program. |
Salary | Pay Grade: E-10: Minimum Starting Salary $49,427.96/yr |
