Job Description | The Director of Student Success is responsible for developing, assessing, and managing a comprehensive coaching, advising, and retention model that supports a diverse student body. This position focuses on implementing holistic strategies that connect, engage, coach, and retain students while fostering their success and completion. The Director will collaborate closely with academic services and other areas of the college to create integrated approaches that address students’ academic, career, and personal development. Overseeing student engagement and career services, the Director leads efforts to provide programs and services that empower students to achieve their academic and personal goals. By coordinating and improving the overall student experience, the Director ensures a supportive and inclusive environment that enhances students’ sense of belonging, encourages persistence, and drives completion. This role is pivotal in aligning institutional goals with student success outcomes. |
Required Qualifications | This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 – 5 years of related experience, including applicable administrative, supervisory, and regulatory compliance experience. |
Preferred Qualifications | Master’s Degree in student personnel, higher education administration, or closely related field preferred. Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the community college mission and student population. Familiarity with Jenzabar CX and/or other advising systems is highly preferred. |
