EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Monday thru Friday, from 6am to 2pm or 7am to 3pm with occasional evenings during special events i.e. high-profile visitors, graduations, etc. The Richland Department of Public Safety is a hybrid department consisting of police officers and security officers; on rare occasions, an RCC police officer might be asked to fill in, during any shift when an emergency shortage occurs within the police or security department. If a critical incident should take place, the officer might be mandated to work until the emergency is under control.
TRAVEL
Some travel for training may be required and some local travel is expected.
