Job Description | The Director of Wellness is a strategic leader dedicated to advancing the health, well-being, and academic success of all students through the development of inclusive, campus-wide wellness initiatives. This role champions a holistic approach that encompasses physical, mental, emotional, and social wellness, with strong attention to cultural responsiveness and community partnerships. The Director works collaboratively with campus leadership, faculty, staff, and external agencies to promote wellness programming, crisis prevention, and student retention strategies. |
Required Qualifications | A Master’s degree in public health, counseling, higher education, social work, or related field and 3–5 years’ experience in health promotion, wellness services, or student support. Must be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or higher. Strong understanding of mental health issues in community college populations. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to the community college mission and student population. |
