Job Description | POSITION SUMMARY This position will work closely with the Executive Director of Human Resources and will have a responsibility for several HR areas that include employee relations and disciplinary matters, benefit administration, performance management system, FMLA and ADA requests, managing job descriptions and interview questions, and training and development for staff and faculty. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Serve as a key contributor to the Human Resources team, supporting a range of HR functions and initiatives. Provide guidance and support on employee-related matters, including workplace issues and performance concerns. Coordinate and assist with the administration of employee benefits, performance processes, and workplace policies. Help develop and implement training and development opportunities for employees across all levels. Support compliance with employment laws and internal procedures related to leave management, accessibility, and workplace accommodations. Assist with recruitment support tasks, including maintaining job descriptions and interview materials. Collaborate with others to support a positive and inclusive work environment through employee engagement initiatives. Participate in various HR projects and organizational initiatives as needed. Act as a resource for HR team members, providing guidance and promoting effective collaboration. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of HR work. Serve on College committees and taskforces as appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Additional hours may be required. Some flexibility in hours is possible. This position may be eligible to participate in the alternative work arrangement program. TRAVEL Occasional travel to other College facilities will be necessary. Occasional in-state or out-of-state travel may be required for meetings and conferences. |
Required Qualifications | This position requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and a minimum of five years’ related experience in Human Resources. |
Preferred Qualifications | Experience in higher education is preferred. HR Certifications are a plus. |

Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Respond to concurrent, multiple, non-related issues. Work effectively in stressful situations. |
Salary | Pay Grade E-13: $69,673.76-$87,092.20 |
