| The Full-Time Food Service Worker supports daily food service operations at the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center (MCLETC). Primary responsibilities include stocking, cleaning, dishwashing, meal service support, and maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen and cafeteria environment. This role involves minimal food preparation and no cashiering responsibilities.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK Minimum 40 hours per week. Typical work hours are Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 8:00pm and Friday from 8:00am to 2:30pm. This position is not eligible to participate in the alternative work arrangement program. Please note this position is located at the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center (MCLETC) located at 1095 West Rotary Way, Decatur, IL.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Support meal service operations, including serving and restocking food and supplies. Maintain a safe and sanitary workstation, cafeteria, and kitchen while following proper sanitation procedures. Monitor and document required logs, including temperature, sanitation, and waste logs. Sort and rinse dirty dishes; load dishwashing machines; wash items by hand as needed; allow items to dry; and properly store clean dishes and equipment. Transport dishes, food items, and supplies to appropriate storage or service areas using carts or other approved methods. Receive, stock, rotate, and organize food and supply deliveries. Conduct routine cleaning and deep cleaning as directed. Assist with minimal food preparation as needed. Perform other duties as assigned |
