Richland Community College is a comprehensive community college serving District 537. Richland Community College serves residents of Macon County and parts of Christian, DeWitt, Logan, Moultrie, Piatt, Sangamon, and Shelby Counties. The college serves approximately 7,600 students annually through its main campus, Clinton Extension Center, Fairview Park Plaza Extension Center, and Heartland Technical Academy. The Continuing and Professional Education Division provides professional development courses, community education courses, and workforce training to over 4,000 people annually. “Community” is our middle name. From the time our college was created in 1971, through the Richland Community College Foundation’s first-ever major gifts campaign in 2007, our district has shown tremendous support. We take seriously our responsibility to offer baccalaureate/transfer, technical, continuing education, and community education programs, and in turn the people of our district have benefitted.
