Role Responsibilities

TCCI is looking to grow our Decatur, IL based organization. In support of our growth and new market opportunities, the Company is seeking to hire Interns for the summer of 2026 to support a variety of projects and day-to-day operations within the department. This paid internship offers an hourly wage between $16 – $20 and provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, develop workplace skills, and contribute to meaningful initiatives that support the company’s goals. support and learn within our production planning, sales forecasting, transportation, and construction management functions.

In this role, our Interns will work with internal stakeholders inside our Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure the Company produces a high-quality product that meets the needs of our customers. Additionally, this role will work with customers, end users, and at times, our suppliers, to help them develop solutions that meet their manufacturing, design, and applications needs. Finally, it will play a role in supporting the construction planning as we demolish and rebuild our Decatur, IL facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling, and preparing reports or presentations.
  • Support ongoing projects by gathering information, conducting research, and providing general coordination as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve efficiency or processes.
  • Help maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Collaborate with staff members across departments to learn about company operations.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable leadership skills exhibited through school clubs, volunteer experiences, and general attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team environment.

Education

Pursuing a Bachelors of Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering from an accredited college or university
