Position Overview
Webster Cantrell Youth Advocacy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Safe@Home Safety Manager to join our Intact Family Services team. This position plays a critical role in supporting children and families through the development and oversight of in-home safety plans designed to maintain family stability and child safety.
The Safe@Home Safety Manager works closely with families, community providers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure effective service coordination, crisis response, and ongoing support within a trauma-informed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage in-home impending danger safety plans for families.
- Collaborate with Intact Family Services staff, community providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide direct in-home safety services and ongoing family support.
- Monitor safety plan effectiveness and communicate updates regularly.
- Arrange and coordinate safety service provider coverage as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and required reports.
- Attend team meetings, court hearings, trainings, and other assigned functions.
- Uphold strict confidentiality standards and professional ethics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required; MSW preferred.
- Safe@Home specialty certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Experience in child welfare, family services, or related human services field preferred.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively in high-stress situations.
- Valid Illinois driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required.
- Ability to pass required background checks.
